Lo Sportello Intercultura LGBTQIA+ di Arcigay Roma offre supporto e assistenza a persone con background migratorio per il proprio orientamento sessuale o identità di genere.
Il servizio fornisce assistenza legale, psicologica, mediazione interculturale e attività di accompagno legate allo status di rifugiato politico o richiedente protezione internazionale per motivi di orientamento sessuale o identità di genere.
In particolare lo sportello offre colloqui di accoglienza e orientamento e prevede l’accesso alle seguenti consulenze professionali:
– supporto legale per l’esercizio dei propri diritti di permanenza nel Paese d’arrivo;
– supporto di counseling o psicologico con approccio etnografico e affermativo;
– mediazione sociale nell’accesso ai servizi sanitari, per l’istruzione, la formazione, il lavoro, l’accoglienza abitativa.
Puoi chiedere gratuitamente la protezione internazionale se nel tuo paese di origine c’è un ambiente omofobico o transfobico o se hai subito violenze e/o discriminazioni.

You can ask freely for international protection if in your home country there is an homophobic or transphobic environment and if you have experienced violence and / or discrimination.
Arcigay Roma’s LGBTQIA+ Intercultural Help Desk provides support and assistance to people with a migrant background whose sexual orientation or gender identity may expose them to discrimination, persecution, or barriers to accessing their rights.The service offers legal assistance, psychological support, intercultural mediation, and guidance related to refugee status or international protection claims based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
In particular, the Help Desk provides an initial reception and orientation meeting and access to the following professional services:
- legal support to help individuals exercise their rights to remain in the host country;
- counselling and psychological support based on an affirmative and culturally sensitive approach;
- social mediation to facilitate access to healthcare services, education, training, employment, and housing services.
You can access the service every Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm by booking an appointment via email at intercultura@arcigayroma.it.
